Re: Typhon number of clusters

When I started we had the 50s. Of course more players.

Why not start the new server with 59 galaxies just once? I think you will get more AE veterans to participate.

Just a thought as I'm sucking down a cold beer in deep thought.....

Re: The Lynx Strongholds and Chronicles Thread

Walk away Logan, better run. We have no appetite for whiners to want to ban everyone they disagree with.

Too much emphasis on cheating.

Lock this thread and perma-ban the author of this thread!

Re: The Lynx Strongholds and Chronicles Thread

HI is far better organized.

The other guild [by whatever name they go by] consists of too many guilds and personalities. It's like trying to herd kittens.

Re: Worth returning?

There needs to be an experimental server, but there won't be, so not worth returning IMO. But for what kind of experiments? Absolutely anything. The thought in regards to avoiding any updates is because it will upset the super dooper "balance" of the game. So then have them done in an experimental ...

More old and fresh ideas, thrown away into the AE waste basket.

Thank you all for your ideas to improve the AE experience.

Re: Rebel Against Your Occupier!

Why not be able to use the defenses, such as photon, disruptor turrets and have them regenerate and hit the occupying fleet? This might make long term occupation not profitable.

Re: FMR review - Ground units

Having ground troops and troop carriers to carry ground troops would give this game another dimension in play. Why not make it very difficult to invade a base, unless you have at least a 3 to 1 advantage. This could also hinge on XP and tech. Yes, you can blockade trades with ships, but getting pill...

Let people try to think of ways to improve the game play at AE. Certainly nothing will come of it, but the AE old timers can always dream that "changes, th...

Re: FMR review - Ground units

Changes need to be done, period. I can't believe I'm playing in the newest server. I'm usually in past servers, always upgraded and upgraded others. But now the other 2 servers I'm playing in, I'm not upgraded. You guys want my money, you want more paying customers? Get off your @sses and work on th...

Re: FMR review - Ground units

You could make an occupation more difficult with ground units as defense. Just like ISIS/ISIL, you can't defeat them until you kill their troops. This could help smaller guilds, by having them invest more in ground troops to fight a potential occupation. Ships that carry troops must spend more to fe...
