Max level for commanders?

Simple question: is there a max level for commanders?

Not exactly, but level 25 costs more experience than anyone currently has on any 1.5 server. The same amount of experience under 2.0 rules would be sufficient to buy level 40 (by itself), though no one has anywhere near that much experience on 2.0 servers (nor likely ever will be).

The largest fleet on any server is about 1 billion, assuming the owner of that fleet managed to derb it for 100% profit (i.e. 2 billion) and put it all into one commander, that only brings the ceiling up to level 26. (No one is going to get 1 billion fleet on a 2.0 server.)

I know, its illogical to spend all those creds in a comander, specially because you can always loose it.
I was just pointing the possibility.
I've seen so many illogical things though...
