You're awesome. Except your propensity to conveniently round by 50 million. I'd check those fleet totals again. Then again, I suppose you tell people your penis is 50 million inches long. So probably par for the course.FrostyGoblin wrote:You lost like 400ish in active troops against like 500ish million semi active and picked up like 300ish million on the WH, that's a win alright! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗBalor wrote:IMP has always enjoyed a sturdy advantage. This is the 2nd time I've organized a large (I don't take sole credit for either) crash that utterly wiped out a foe, while still having to cede a few derbs. And just ike O45 we didn't have enough time to complete it and call it a total victory. But good enough and worth it. If you want to fight battles on this server then expect IMP to be not far behind 2 other guilds who crash.
No the STRIP were not inactives. That was their better half and mostly pretty active dudes who suicided to become a mix of AI and IMP derbs.
I'm sure that some anti-AI players are bitter that we didn't just stay home and do nothing forever. I'm sure some IMP would've preferred both a free snack And an inact STRAP
I was un-retired for less than 24 hours and Duster gave me everything our alliance leadership hoped for, a complete genocide of their actives and the beginning of their cluster's death spiral.

AI bragging about how they have derbed half of a barely active guild and didn't even get all the derbs. Priceless
"This game is cancer" -FrostyGoblin
Re: AI derbs STRAP
Didnt see a whole lotta bragging from AI tbh. Peeps just posted what happened. Inactives or not the 30's are weakened. Am sure those who were there would have loved to get all the derbs but such is life... Am pretty sure they were also happy to do some derbing as opposed to blob staring
Re: AI derbs STRAP
Yes, that's not how how its supposed to work is it?abnormal soldier wrote:AI bragging about how they have derbed half of a barely active guild and didn't even get all the derbs. Priceless
They were active enough to blob 500mil on a wormhole and choose to suicide. This is also the same group that bailed out IMP's O20 pile. Everyone knows these were active, everyone knows that removing them and the better half the 30s from the chess board. Its Unless you're bitter and its not in your interest.
we don't have one massive supercluster where we can afford to play defense forever. we do have a comparable blob, more territory, and some good actives. so it makes sense to kill off rivals and reward our own actives. 10% fleet burn from a 3+bil mass, STRAP has less to lose. if I'm actually explaining the concept of re-investment here, if people don't grasp that then you know you've always been a fool and non-leader who sees things from a "whats in my narrow personal interest" perspective and anyone who doesn't fulfill that must be doing it wrong in your view.
The derbs part of it was controversial sure but do you think we coerced those players to land and fight gloriously when they didn't want to? if you're a pawn then don't try and tell a king how to do his job because the ignorance just makes me lawl hard.

You got that right...I followed you and now I am rc spec, so I pretty much hate AI leadership nowLuftwaffe wrote:We crash people complain/troll, we sim people complain/troll. You just can't win with this community.
But seriously, it was a fun 5 to 10 seconds between when the lag let up and two of the totally inactive strap guys zf'd me...so glad they were inacto...just think how short my time after landing would have been then???? 2 or 3 seconds maybe???? would not have even had time to load the attack screen...
so...glad those "inactive" strap guys are down at least a bit...now I have to rebuild to fight "active" players....

Re: AI derbs STRAP
not all the strap fleets on that wh were active.
some had been sitting there a while. and if the ticker and br's are any indication most of the hits were ai on strap inactive.
and there were several 0 loss rapes wich can also indicate and inactive target.
don't try to trump this up as some huge accomplishment. lol
good job anyway. but dont get a big head about it.

Don't try to downplay it either. It was a ballsy move, STRAP died, that's all we're saying.

Actually, a few of those were people caught in recall including a large fighter stack. Additionally, some were their rec fleets which they had sent away and we caught.doctor who 76 wrote: and there were several 0 loss rapes wich can also indicate and inactive target.
But other than that, yeah, all the rapes were inactos
