well lets see, the guild they are going up against has been neck to neck in a cluster war since literally the inception of the server, they've had defeats and victories and it's been hard fought.... yet... after all this battling... they still somehow manage to have more fleet than lotp, which was handed a cluster on a silver platter with no resistance at all. What does that say about how this will turn up? I say derb delivery just like their lolattempt at the 20s.

I shoot for the stars, no I will own the stars.

yet you forget to mention that PAX does have 60 extra members than LOTP, and LOTP does have the better fleet averages. but that is not part of your spin is it?

I'd have better averages too if I started in a sim cluster with no contest. :3

Doesn't excuse LotP's terribad attempt at an op in the 20's though. :wink:

six weeks of simming and that's all you can manage? A fleet average that's only 200k above a guild that has 4.5x your exp average, not to mention Pax closes that "fleet average" gap by close to 10k a day.


Good luck then, don't fail us twice now okay.

Oh, and when you're stronghold is burning please do me a favor and don't go sending your fleets back, we want the debris.

People see LoTP as a powerhouse and the spin will keep coming, but the reality is that those that know what they are talking about look at guild numbers of members and see stratight away that LoTp is way behind the other guilds. And don't cry poor Pax cause Pax has been superfed and has the player numbers. All LoTP has presently done is stop the inevitable final crash by Pax against Rage in the short term.

I look at them as a guild who makes terrible decisions on ops and is only "good" if they can sim in peace.

Lotp is a weak *beep* guild. Their cowardice on this issue is not surprising, but this op will end worse for them than B20s op did because that's all that failure knows.

Well, I don't think how that would be possible.

They got caught in a recall trap, had their inactive taken down for awesome ratio, made a totally unsync'd landing that got wrecked for even better ratios, ... How can they really screw up more than that ?

Being from Sith, I must say Lotp did quite a good job in 20 and 21. The mistake was the launch to 23 where, as you said, they got recall trapped by the 20s alliance. I, for one, don't consider their attempt in the 20s a screw up.

not knowing where enemy blob is and launching over it and getting derbed is a major screw up

(I sure hope they try the same tactic in 00s...I hear their fleets taste like chicken)

Well the small amount LoTP have brought with them have helped buy some time for Rage. Pax should have launched much earlier to derb Rage and LoTP probably would have had to recall. LoTP having the guts to send down to help Rage in these early stages and successfully landing was a success and an early opportunity missed by Pax. Pax may spin it another way but they should have derbed Rage as soon as they could - I mean look at their caps!!

Now we can all look forward to increased diplo work to liven the server up.

I don't know what you need. This is the most epic screw I have ever witnessed in AE in recent memories...

On another note, I find it extremely amusing to see that the one guild that pledged to prevent anyone from interfering with the 00's internal conflict (a promise which is at the foundation of their B20's operation and screw up) ends up being the one that go and mess things up... Especially considering the Pax/RAGE war has been pretty even and fun so far (1 crash won for each side, nearly equal numbers overall, ...)
