The Gaya deal.

Postby Compulse » Wed 18 Jan, 2017 20:51

Since both guilds in Gaia are absolutely awful at launching fleet, the GMs of [OP] and I (for some reason GM of [Legit]) have decided to do something hilariously stupid.

At 08:00 ST on the 21st, both guilds will launch, [OP] from the wormhole in G12, and [Legit] from the wormhole in G02, to the wormhole in G26. We will both land simultaneously.

There are a few rules for this deal -

No fleets taking part should already be in G26. All fleet has to be launched from wormholes.
08:00 ST is the earliest launch time allowed. Any fleets landing early will be made to recall.
No fleet will be launched at the other guilds strongholds during this time.
The base owner at the G26 wormhole will disband all CCs/base defences.

Numbers in the build up to the crash (after Captain Crunch sui) -

Code: Select all

1	[OP] GUILD	385,722,845	115	3,354,112
2	[Legit] Good Players	314,576,835	70	4,493,955
[OP] has a fleet advantage due to extra players, [Legit] has a fleet average advantage.

(Rule 4 does not break the rule (It is forbidden for a player to occupy another player with his consent and agreement (disbanding defenses and command centers, removing fleets, providing base locations, etc)) as it is not allowing occupation, simply removing the advantage gained by CCs/base defences during a crash.)

inb4 ASAE steals the pile

[OP] 25,020 (2) 180,985,950 (60) 181,010,970 (62)
[Legit] 208,773,205 (73) 208,773,205 (73)

After 10 minutes.

At the 02 WH -

[Legit] 77,637,085 (56) 10,453,610 (35) 88,090,695 (91)
[OP] 9,706,905 (3) 9,706,905 (3)
Total 77,637,085 (56) 20,160,515 (38) 97,797,600 (94)

I'm guessing [OP] failed and launched 3 fleets by accident, not in an attempt to trick us.

After 50 minutes -

[OP] 25,020 (2) 192,853,325 (65) 192,878,345 (67)
[Legit] 194,636,025 (69) 194,636,025 (69)
Total 25,020 (2) 387,489,350 (134) 387,514,370 (136)

[Legit] had ~210m in the air at peak, but recalled some to keep the crash fairer.

After 1h 30 mins -

[OP] 25,020 (2) 218,925,305 (71) 218,950,325 (73)
[Legit] 224,913,765 (79) 224,913,765 (79)

Some RC mixed in with both, still pretty close.

On landing it was about 293m for [OP], 283m for [Legit].

Total debris was around 160m, with [Legit] losing around 117m fleet, and [OP] losing around 198m fleet.
[Legit] won the pile comfortably, and [OP] recalled about an hour after the crash.

I guess you will never get it will you?

Stronghold vs spread
Blobbing vs dispersal
High averages vs low averages
few big eggs in one nest vs many small eggs dispersed all over

Oposite strategies....alwayz work fine....like it or not.

ASAE will alwayz come out fine if 2 conditions are met....

you cant beat probabilities....

max you can do is cheat your way around it....

Enjoy.

Spread out or blobbed don't mean a thing
Fact is ASAE is scared to fight period

I've never cheated and I've always put up a better account then anyone in ASAE
and I'm not very good at the game.

So doesn't say much about you at all.

Other then u hide and just build tech lol

U right
Long as you don't fight build fleet and hide
Eventually a couple years after everyone is gone then u can come out of hiding hit some bases and go
" see everyone I told you ASAE is the best guild ever"

Lol
