The Strategic cruiser is more like a scout ship that can dish out a beating. It can be used in place of the battleship and has the speed of Scout. It can move in and out of warp quickly and with Ion weaponry it makes it a valuable. Although not as large it still will take on Death Stars.

Nice ship. However scale looks a bit off. On something that was nearly 2 km in length the windows or viewing ports would be much smaller than they are in that picture. That looks like it might be about 300-600 meters in length.

You also forgot to mention your proposed the price for this ship. I would suggest making it extremely high given its awesome capabilities.

It seems a but unfair making so massive and powerful a ship also incredibly fast. Faster than any Corvette or Frigate. Big powerful ships are made disproportionately slow to give their potential victims a chance by letting them see the incoming slow fleets of Battleships or Titans well before they arrive. They can then more quickly muster all their faster weaker ships into the appropriate positions in preparation for the attack.

If your highly priced Strategic cruiser was available in the Astro Empires World the large established players/guilds would amass huge fleets of them and quickly run from one Galaxy to another taking over the whole server in no time.

I might try inventing a new ship of my own perhaps.
