Ive never had a problem with it. I used it a couple weeks ago.

Now the AE bits distance calc doesn't work for *beep*.
Which they are made by the same person so the two sites are easy to confuse.

The problem I'm referring to is non-obvious until you actually try to use the tables it gives you. It used to round the speeds incorrectly for Dreadnoughts, Leviathans, and Death Stars with certain Warp levels.


edit: Looks like the problem still exists. e.g. For a random flight of 4800 ly, with Warp 21 from a level 13 gate, the calc thinks a Dreadnought will take 66h 50m 02s. That's... not exactly the case:


Granted the problem only manifests with Warp 13, 17, 21 etc. (13+4n), and only for those three ships, but it can still cause problems. Whenever someone complains about caps being late I can't help but wonder if this was part of the problem.

ahh I never noticed that. Well thanks for the info. In the future I will make sure to add adjustments to the tables if needed.
