Interactive map

Postby Wizard » Fri 21 Jan, 2011 15:22

As we announced on the blog last month we have been working on a new interactive map for the game. We have now implemented a beta version of the map into the game.

You can active it in the account/display options. As this feature is still a beta version, is not active by default.

It’s possible that it has some bugs. If you find any please let us know in the bugs section.

Feedback and suggestion how to improve the map are also welcome.

Interactive map updated.

- There is now a checkbox option to hide/show the objects (Bases, Fleets, etc..).

- In a system that was objects the tooltip shows the several objects there (bases, fleets, bookmarks), you can click to select the one you want to see.
This can add an extra click, but allows you to select, instead of go to the first.

- Some bugs fixed.

As most the bugs reported in the interactive map was fixed, the interactive map in now the default map displayed if the user have the (Auto) option selected in the Account/Display menu.

In case of accessing from some mobile devices, having the (Auto) option will display the static map version, as it is more compatible with mobile devices.

If you still find any bug with the interactive map, please report it.
