Okay folks,

a lot has happened in the last few days so those of you inactives just logging on now...
Yes you have entered an alternate AE reality.

These things have since transpired:

1. Rafen stepped down, giving the guild to Neptune.
2. Rafen quit KoW, because somebody in KoW tattled on him.
3. Rafen has made certain attacks on members with varying degrees of inactivity.

Meow, for me and for a long time, Rafen has been a good leader and like a brother to some of us in the guild. Because of this, I'm sure there are some of us here that feel a little torn up about this. It was eerie to see him step down and almost disband the kittens. Then it was quite another to watch him go on a rampage against those members of the guild. Granted, that one these members probably will be quitting AE. Meow, it is not his right to make unprovoked, because he is pissed (American or British slang may be interchanged here), nor is he entitled to retributions because of the actions that transpired, save the one person who ratted him out. Even so, Rafen took a risk by posting his intentions of spying in the announcements, as there are spies in almost every guild.

That said, we don't want you annoying him by telling him what a naughty, naughty boy he has been. Nor do we want any threats to be made, as we have noted his actions and won't make any retaliatory hits as a guild unless he continues to attack. Also, get your fleets off his bases, as he sees them as profits. If you have fleet in 02, get it to 09 already.

In another story, many of you are being attacked by DOOM and M.R. A LOT of it is NOT your fault. These guilds are testing our strength and leadership. We MUST show them we can't be pushed around. Expect more attacks, especially if you leave your mobile fleets lying around where they aren't protected. Again, send them to the 09 JG, so we can fight TOGETHER. The leaders within this guild are coordinating plans that will soon involve hits, yes retaliations, outside the 09 JG. but in order to do this we need everyone's cooperation. We MUST have cooperation from the whole, if we are to succeed in these campaigns.

Meow, if you can't do this, then you are putting us in an uncomfortable position. Since we are reorganizing, we are shifting priorities. The majority of this guild and the leaders want to be active, making hits on other guilds that are targeting us. So, if you aren't going to cooperate (and the first step is going to the 09 JG all of you!), you will become a liability and easy pickings for the other guys. If you don't think you can fight because you are inactive (logging in less than once a day), then we have some options we want you to consider.

1. First and foremost, we want you to become an active member. We are and have been an upper echelon fighting guild, but our last GM going to college and two servers later, and now some are lethargic (most are not lethargic). We will have fun, if we saddle up and ride, but it will take work on your part by logging in daily.

2. Second, if you are logging in every other day (literally at LEAST every 2 days), but have extenuating circumstances, like family, college, work, traveling, or any other legitimate reasons. Now...I mean MEOW...is the time for you to tell us you cannot be active. We still want you to be a part of the guild, so long as you are willing to follow instructions. Again, LET US KNOW.

3. Third, sadly this is were the decisions get tough for the leaders. If you are logging in every 3 or 4 days to keep your credits coming, you are NOT helping us, you aren't a meat shield, and you aren't helping our numbers. You are chum. Chumming up the Ceti waters, so that other guilds might come and take a bight out of us. This has to stop. Why not consider giving your account over to a lower level active? If you aren't really playing anymore, but hate to see that hard work just be erased, let it be put to good use!!! There are plenty of players who would love the opportunities of having an old upgraded account. Why not see it put to good use? You could still be a member of the guild, couldn't you?

Hopefully, everyone of you will have read this, it took me 3 minutes, but I know that English is not the first language for everyone here. I apologize for the length, but this has been a long time coming. We ARE reorganizing, like it or not (hopefully you like it!) and our priorities are shifting to the old days, just the new remix version. If you are uncertain about your future in this guild, give this some thought.

For meow, here are your orders, per Neptune:

1. Get to XXXXXX meow with everything, but scouts. We plan to attack SOON.
2. Leave Rafen alone, whether you want to or not. We don't want to fight.
3. If you see Rafen attacking, message Neptune, so that he is aware of it.
4. Consider your role in KoW.
a. active (logging in daily)
b. active enough, but with circumstances
c. inactive but willing change and to follow instructions
d. chum <---again not a good place to be
5. I want to know you read this announcement by messaging me, "SIGNED" in my mailbox

Oct 2020 Update: In 2018, MagicSwan had revealed himself to be a spai in ASG using the GentlemanJack account. This information is located here. This information came after the attack on ASG by HeiHo (the other large power bloc on the server) earlier that year, and it's demonstrated on the snapshot, that the account holder of the GJ account held RMIT+.

KOW in SU Chat:

Regarding the derbing of their "training guild" (very loose term, as they never did any training with them. In fact, KOW outsourced the role to Omlo through the years). IA was derbed because KOW discovered that ASG was attempting to pull them away from KOW, and to ASG. Something which the ASG GM at the time, V4V, strenuously denied; but the IA GM, Zadius, had fessed up to.

KOW requested that IA should move next to them for "an op" of which they complied. Once all major fleets had landed, KOW removed IA from their position as a TG and derbed them a few seconds later.
