The server's IP will be changing this evening, from 64.130.236.197 to 72.46.122.197. I'll update DNS when it happens, but there will be interruptions as DNS propagates.

? Please (for this perticular post especially) use proper gramma. Im not trying to hurt your feelings but its slightly confusing.

I think what you ment to say was: Everyone complains how hard it is to make a graphics package work.

And if im correct then your wrong, because not everyone says its hard to use a graphics package. In fact for most people its very easy. The problem is making your own graphics package.

Anyway thats what i came here for. Looking for help on how to make your own GP.

Zoom in if you cant read it. Mabey that'll help.

How random. Yes, yours is clearer but I think mine works. Also, I think you're trolling me.

I was exaggerating (only the Sith deal in absolutes), but no, it's not easy to use a locally-hosted (C:\etc path) pack unless you're using IE (does it even work by default in IE7/8?). In any version of Firefox you have to change advanced settings, and you cannot get it to work at all in Opera. I can't speak to Safari or other browsers. Using public (http://etc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) packs is far easier.

I'm sorry, but am I the only one that thinks this isn't an end-all solution?

Yes, its nice to use non-standard graphics package, and I commend you for that.

However my primary purpose of using a locally hosted graphics package is to increase speed. This does not solve that issue since the package is still hosted elsewhere.

I keep looking for answers to getting a locally hosted GP work in Chrome, and keep getting referred to this topic. Which does me no good. I've gotten FireFox to work just fine though.

Boston, Mass. is closer to the US than Portugal is, at least.

Good luck with Chrome. Let us know if you can get it working with C:\etc paths. You could always set up a web server on your computer / LAN and refer AE to http://127.0.0.1/etc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Users of this should have noticed that this was slower yesterday, and for FF users I'm pretty sure it should have broken completely (but I don't use FF so). In any case it's fixed now.

Cause: I upgraded Lighttpd to 1.4.23-2, and due to the scripts mentioned in this bug report not being executable, MIME types broke and the server was not telling browsers what kind of file the files it was serving were. This caused browsers to stop caching images and my transfer for the day to be double normal :paranoid:, and Firefox to freak out over some files. But once I made the scripts executable and restarted Lighty it seems to be better.

In other news, we have two new packs and a new combo pack. Solar Flare and Purple Splash are now hosted, and the ED + UPP combo pack has been made.

The server is going kaput so I am switching it to another server. If I did it right, no one should notice.

Just concerning this Alucard, ED (Embraced Death) has released a graphic pack extension (you install on Firefox), very easy way to go around 99.99% of the problems that happen on a browser now.
