Basic guide to fleet specs

Is there any chance of getting another update for this? OR maybe some discussion about the advanced specs from users. I've always failed to explain he intricaces of the IF spec, and would like to have something I could redirect people too. Also, information on the other advanced specs would be interesting to read.

Yeah i have seen quite a few forum posts asking about dreads (myself included) as well is ion based fleets, there's no real info on any of the more 'advanced' specs on teh forums.

IF are the true capital ship killers, but they get positive ratios against any spec with shields.

Basically, if you can rid a fleet of fodder, IF can get a sound ratio on the finish. Which means that they can do well against rainbows.

Of course, against any fleet with a ft screen (which face it, is every not rape spec) they are truely awful. But if you can use the pace to catch a fleet with no/low fodder, or get others to do the drops, they are quite useful.

Also, as with frigate fleets, you need to be very active, as any fighter drop is devastating.

just do 6 specs....2 rocks...2 papers...2 scissors....to cover it all....

or stick to pure fighterdrops if you dont mind the many waves needed.

I just came back from a long hiatus. I will probably update it eventually, but I'm currently re-learning a lot of the stuff myself.

I'm pretty sure that we had never spoken before Typhon opened. Even if you used to go by a different name, I'm pretty sure I would recognize your typing patterns, which are distinctive.
