The Bagel is correct, alphas politics are a whirl wind, Id also like to think that every great leader of the aforementioned guilds has had something in them to not totally squash the server, but to direct it. Best example I can think of on the spot being 13th and the Alpha pact.

How about when Myself and Fred let the other side of the server live even when everyone else in our half wanted to end them? The Alpha pact was a load of bollocks and was bent to suit who had the biggest dick either in their pants or on their head

Yep and again BORG/SHLD/XORG/Sticks were spared by 13th to let that even happen to begin with.

All 3 are examples as to what I was referencing, I didn’t intend to be ‘1 sided about it’ I’m more than aware it’s happened on all sides.

Make alpha great again = Make production capacity easier to increase past the 30k mark.

If people want to simcity at their 26k prod, the decent human beings should still be able to fly past them in prod capacity instead of the TERRIBLY slow growth you get later. When its better to just get 26-28k prod and then only make enough hits to finance full prod instead of making real hits keeping the construction/research going then you know something is awful

So instead of getting only 60M+ a year more than a 26k prod guy, you think that a player like me and 20 more should be able to get 200M+ more than that said 26k prod guy ?

If you can finance it, yes.

The main issue to me with it is that it would make dumping all creds into 1 guy a viable strategy, so while I think increasing prod to the 35-40k levels should be far easier than it is now, it shouldnt be as efficient as boosting some other guys prod to the 25k range

I should be able to get 500m+ more in a year than anyone else.

Dumping all derbs on a deletable account? Sure.
But what about queues?
The guy that is "living" from daily eco will have smaller fleet than those with long queues.

The old noob, not necessarily the oldest ;)

You all might as well just quit.

I can almost guarantee Alpha keeps wiz’s lightbulbs on if that’s what you are referring too.

@Tessfleet, you still coming to this dumb game when you don’t even play? Seems mighty dumb for such an enlightened individual.

We'll never be able to completely reset the server as players, but at least we'd get rid of the half billion credit sim stacks and make the game more playable again. Most of the people who still play rarely leave their blob for fear of losing something they've been building for years. I don't care how long their queues are they wont replace that sort of fleet. And there should be people with short and long queues in every block so it''s not like they'd be at any more of a disadvantage than they are now.
