Internals (documentation, 2008)

Need 2 PRings, 2 PShields
Plus keep your Credits as close to 0 as possible. Save money with long researches and buildings. Cancel those to get back those credits.
Plus keep only 10k fighters on each base with 2 P-Rings, some HC can help also, like 20.
Any extra fleet, move to somewhere safer, or keep it moving. You must make sure your fleet is moving while you are offline, test different fleet travel distances and timing.

Once they realize you are worthless they will leave you alone.

In the while don't fear to be occ. Learn to free your base. Mostly with fighters and heavy bombers.

Some advanced tactics:
Always keep your recyclers moving but close enough.
Plan the attack on occupier.

* attack before an hour and half.
* make sure your recyclers arrive before the hour and half but after you attack, that way you will collect the debris and give little chance to get your fleet destroyed
* watch activity periods of your attackers, you would have a great advantage if you know when they are offline.
* use battlecalc, look for link in guild main page. it is not precise but close.

Since we are not a purely combat guild, or I should say a non-combat guild, or in ae slang a full of simmers guild, the best defense we have is to learn to be non profitable.
Watch the guides in the external forum.
Some guilds are dedicated to combat and they have better chances than us. The problem is we all are fat and lazy and a bunch of crying babies, most of us are lucky for being in peace with those around us.
A few of us made bases in more conflictive galaxies, like Shadowson.
And there are only two options:

* Disband those bases and rebuild somewhere safe: This is not that crazy, since any occupied base has economy/construction/production/research reduced to 70% and after revolt and gaining back planet control your economy is restored 2 points per day, it might take a month to be fully restored.
* Learn to be unprofitable
Also
1 Barrack = 1 fighter with regeneration.

in other words
Anything below ion turrets can be destroyed quite easily with few fighters. Not recommendable, not even for new players.
Ions and photons still can be destroyed easily but are useful for players level 10 to 20
Disruptors and Deflections are a must for players level 20 to 30
Any player level 30 without planetary rings is farmable, and each fleet unit makes you more farmable.
Also as fleet is included in level formula, building fleet increases the chance of being farmable as you approach to 30.

ORDERS

Build defenses

Danger level: [ 1 ]
Level 1: All Clear (spend 3/4 credits to grow economy, 1/4 building fleets)
Level 2: Caution (spend 2/3 credits to grow economy, 1/3 building fleets)
Level 3: Possible War (spend 1/2 credits to grow economy, 1/2 building fleets)
Level 4: War is Eminent (spend 1/3 credits to grow economy, 2/3 building fleets)
Level 5: Major War (spend all credits building fleets)

Training Room << If you register, don't use your AE login and password.


AGREEMENTS:
| MDP = Mutual Defense Pact
| ODP = Optional Defense Pact
| NAP = Non Agression Pact, they are friends
| KOS = Kill On Sight, they are enemies!

Guild Rules & Expectations:

1. No Guild member should occupy an opponent for more than 7 days (unless we are at war).
2. No unprovoked attacks on members of guilds that we're not at war with.
3. When someone in a guild in the top 30 attacks a member of the UFP, no response will be made without the consent of the UFP High Council.
4. No stealing debris from others except against someone we're at war with.
5. If you are going to be off line for more than a week, please message the Minister of Internal Affairs because we are going to kick people out that are inactive for more than 30 days.
6. Note that the NAPs/MDPs guilds would still be off-limits! Attacking allies repeatedly will result in strong repercussions and will not be tolerated.
7. Do NOT plunder trade routes unless we were plundered first, and no plundering routes that go to NAP/Blood Pacts, etc..

For two reasons.

1) Am trying to keep this thread of Ceti history as empty as possible of comments, and such. There is a lot of information to go through and this would help me out
2) I’ve spoken to Caesar and Ikari about coordinating the removals of posts. Whilst I know people will want to reminisce, etc – do it in the above thread, not in the historical thread.

I’ll post this at the end of each relative segment I’ve worked on, so it’s not rocket science to be redirected to this thread to post your comments (as some people might forget).
