2018 notes: The GM/VGM spot of the guild would change from month to month until it hit 2009. The 2008 GM's for Dojo were: HaZe, Gunslinger (longest run in 2008) & The Desert Fox (shortest run).

OK, time to sort out this ranking system and get you all shiney new ranks (that actually mean something!). My suggestion is an Experience based system (we are a war guild after all). Based on this we can not include Fleet size in the calculation as they directly oppose each other in the cases we are trying to highlight, higher skilled/participation players can easily get a nice xp level with a strong fleet size but this seems to be a problem for some of the simmers here so this will be purely based on Experience

Ranks as follow:

xp - Rank (members)
2.0M+ - Gunjin (3)
1.5M+ - Ikkyu (9)
1.0M+ - Nikyu (11)
750k - Sankyu (7)
250k - Yonkyu (31)
0+ - Gokyu (16)

(The bracketed numbers after the rank are the current number of people in that rank).

It is obviously important to keep a good spread of players across the ranks, but it is also important to allow growth and give players a target to achieve, so you’ll notice the list is bottom heavy (more people in the lower ranks). The more people in the lower ranks initially the longer these levels can be maintained without review. When the ranks do become top heavy new ranks will be added to the top rather than existing ranks being changed causing people to losing their titles.

Leadership are excluded in those numbers and all have relatively high xp (hopefully!), this will reduce the numbers in those top ranks and allow for people to develop into them, if the levels are set too low everyone will be in the top rank within a month and it makes the whole system meaningless.

P.s. – Constant improvement will be required from everyone in ranks, this is not a simmer guild, 20 Million unused fleet is better derbed by us than just sat on LZs (or worse, someone’s home astro).

Hi all!

Browsing through the Combat board, I am noticing more and more posts from the system with attacks on Dojo bases. These attacks are providing much profit for the attackers. This should never happen! I have been in this guild longer than anyone else. The entire time we have stated the following things many many times:

1- do not keep your fleet on your bases. fleet makes you base profitable.
2- prings do damage, pshields assist
3- CCs arent worth the cost/time of construction if you do #1 and #2

Our lowest member is above level 30, with 80% above level 50. Why do we still have this problem?? Fix it guys!!

This is on the guild pages:

Defenses
Required Defenses:
ZERO CC's on regular bases
17+ CC's on your JG base
4 PRings
2 PShields

Defensive fleet
3 Dreads ONLY

**All extra mobile fleet with the guild**

Tips:
- Downgrade weaker turrets when you can build stronger turrets. This will save you area.
- Your turrets will do the damage.
- Build at least one JG base with level 17+ command centers at which you briefly keep your fleet until it departs to a rally point.
