Decrease Guild Size
One of the problems this game faces is that the competition ends too fast with 1 or 2 huge guilds conquering the server and the rest have nothing to play for except for being farmed.
Therefore, I would implement a mechanism that limit the guild size to 50 members so to increase the number of small guilds and increase the competition in the game.
The problem it will create is the lack of ability to have JG's in every galaxy, and that should be solved by a built in JG in each galaxy or JG ship or any of the ideas about JG's that were already suggested throughout the years.
It will create more chaotic servers and will allow more players to stay in each server.

The problem is, Zath, the idea has been proposed repeatedly over the years.
But people will still have 'pacts' and there will be "Alliances". So limiting guild size isn't an issue. People will just swap between guilds to use gates and jump back.

I think it will make it harder. in the newer servers there are hardly any pacts, nor war declarations. It's cluster wars with perhaps 1 ally each. I think that the limited size will prevent or at least delay that part of the game.

I've been in the newer servers, and they do have more than 1 ally... lol..

When there are only 3 guilds of note on the server, 1 ally is all they need.

But those 8 - 10 guilds will just be made up of the same members who were in the 2 - 3, pacts/mdp's/dnh's will be made n in the end will make no difference in the larger scheme of things...

It could also be useful to stop multis cause you want 50 active players in your guild, and not 10 players with 5 multis each..

Honestly, I rather join 9 great guys with their multis and kick *beep* rather than being dependent of 9 great guys and 40 players that dont follow rules, are late, inactive and back away when they dont understand the great scheme of our planing.

No, there are only three guilds of note because there are three clusters, and everyone zergs their cluster in order to control the wormholes. Or at least that's why it started happening originally.
