New Defences

We need new defenses to help balance out the defensive aspect of the game with the offensive aspect, for instance, I think you could add disruptor arrays which would be in space or photon arrays.

I'm sure you'll be glad to know disruptor turrets and photon turrets were happily implanted when the game launched 11 years ago...

Disruptor arrays were a weapon attached to Romulan & Klingon ships, not necessarily a defensive structure.

What can I do to you that life hasn't already?

I kinda agree, we do need new features/structure etc to aim for as a lot of players are pretty much close to completing tech requirements for the current structures.
It would be nice to have something new to aim for, if it be new units/defenses or other structures so be it, but lets face it, it won't happen.
Wizard does not appear to care about how this game is going/attracting new players or keeping the older players who have nothing to aim for..

Whilst new defenses/ structures & tech would be nice n maybe get players interested again as it would give us something new to aim for, we all know it wont happen.

I think a defense that generates a constant damage to an occupier would be good. Something that hit at the XX:15 and XX:45 marks. Or a tech that allowed current defenses to do that.

Being active and having fleet pop out of production at regular interverals is just as effective, and it actually encourages people to be active to clear the occ.

What can I do to you that life hasn't already?

But defense doesn't have to be rebuilt every time it's used.

Having defences being regenerate slowly under occupation and being able to use that as well as your fleet might work .

Don't agree having a defense that damages the occupation force is needed

That's what spawning fleet is for
