Fate ALSO declares war on ~UD~, effective immediately

Fate declares war on ~UD~ effective immediately. ~UD~ has 12 hours before we can legally crash your blob.

Now that we are in a declared war, no other guild can declare on us.

We'll be starting up our war with Noise as soon as their DNH period ends. Noise had best shed the illegal fleet it's acquired from XI in the last few days before that happens.

Fate will form a war guild with no more than 120% the current size of [~UD~].

I've also sent this in a PM to the GM and vice-GM of [~UD~].

Fate has formed [UDW] as its war guild for fighting the UD war.

~UD~ has 22.835 million fleet. UDW will have no more than 120% of that = 28.602 million prior to any blob crash.

Where in the pact does it say a defending guild can't get players from another guild to up there fleet numbers , we all can find loopholes in pacts , hell I found ton loopholes in the alpha pact and that one was alot more detailed this pact here is like Swiss cheese

Pact says, a defending guild has 48 hours in which it can take on as many as 5 players from other guilds, for "gate access."

So the answer to your question is, it doesn't forbid adding players. But it does forbid adding more than 5. And those 5 are supposed to be added within 48 hours of the war declaration.

Now, Noise and SGC both interpreted that to mean 48 hours from the effective date/time of the war declaration. That's how it happened in their "war." We assumed, until today actually, that Noise would be consistent and take the same approach.

If I had read the forums the last couple of days, I guess I would have noticed Cannon Fodder's post claiming that somehow Fate could no longer drop fleet to get down to 120% of Noise's size. That is, self-evidently, inconsistent with Noise's approach in its declared war with SGC.

So, call me naive, but I don't assume off the bat that other people are hypocrites.

That's gate access we don't need gate access this is "fleet access" everyone knows XI has a crappy JG network "gate access" doesn't equal "fleet access", it's not my fault the pact didn't mention it kinda like how it didn't mention anything about declaring on more than one guild , funny how things get left out, its not are fault are lawyers found better loopholes then your lawyers

Noise can declare "war" on UFP and be happy for 3 weeks and don't have to shred the fleet as UFP aren't part of the pact. Have fun guys.

Fleet Blobs

A Fleet Blob is defined as a significant percentage of 10 or more players fleet of the same guild located in the same system.

No limit on Blob size.

Attacking Guidelines

The Guild attacking a blob can be no more than 120% the size of the defending Guild. [This is necessary to prevent abuse, by preventing failed attackers from calling home to the mothership for more fleet, and to improve an attacker’s chances of success, since the defending blob probably has 75-80% of defending guild’s total fleet, at best]

Adjustment for blob-loving defenders: For each 30-day period in which a defending Guild has not been in a declared war, an attacker against their blob may be an additional 5% of the defending Guild’s size.

These two clauses actually counter themselves. Blobs can have no limit size, but attacking guilds can have up to 120% of defending guild size. How do you know if the blob is the attacking guild or not?

All guilds agree not attempt to exploit loopholes in this agreement.

Punitive Clause

No punitive clause required. It is up to the Fenix community to get together and use a common sense approach to dealing with guilds that infringe the agreement.

So what are the Fenix community to do? Common sense kind of went out the window when an unenforceable "pact" was pushed on players now wondering why they have to consult a lawyer before hitting the Attack button.

Forgive me if I'm delusional but I see no added guilds. Maybe I'm not the delusional one.
