Hi guys!

We’ve been looking at the blog and are starting a new feature called ‘Ask Astro Empires’. What we want is for you, the users to ask us questions each week and we’ll select some of them to answer. Think of it like an interview where anyone can ask a question

The questions could be about anything, the game, its history, current developments, why things work like they do or even personal questions to the staff themselves (within reasonable limits). This will be a rolling blog so if your question isn’t answered right away it doesn’t mean it won’t be. Also since it will be weekly we will always be in need of new questions so keep on thinking of them!

Post your question(s) in this thread but please note I shall remove all posts that are not questions so please don't use it to discuss the questions being posted. Finally please remember that not all questions will be answered.

I got one, What is the next Big change for AE? New Buildings? Tech? Ships? I dont mean anything like this new layout, its not going to change the game and keep people here forever, I mean a change that will make people want to stay because its new and they want to wait for whats newt.

I guess I have some questions, odds are they will never be answered, but I have plenty in case you reject one of them.

What are the administrators first names? ... Thinking about it, nevermind, that might not end up very good.
How do administrators spend their days off?
How did the creators of Astro Empires think of the setting and idea, along with the system?
If you had one wish, what would it be?
Do you twice a day and floss?
How old are all moderators and administrators on this forum? I don't know, I am curious, considering most players are in college, from a poll I seen a while back.
Do administrators and moderators play astro empires? if yes, what servers?
Have you ever had a staff picnic? If so, what did you bring and where did you go?
What is the favorite beverage of your staff?
What is the most watched TV show of the staff?
Why is the game called Astro Empires? Were there other names that were in mind?
How did administrators, moderators, and staff make up their usernames on the Forum?

Are there any plans on having regularly scheduled updates? (weekly, monthly, etc?)

Something I've always wanted to know: Why do you have ads for your greatest competitors? I know players who have quit to play the games they found in your ads..O_o

Is there any future plans to finally combat the Zergrushing in the new servers? If so, How do you plan to? and If not, Why? With the current system, whenever a new server comes out, the other dies, and many players and guilds are completely destroyed, and the Strongholding, Players are forced to join whatever guild that controls the galaxy that they started in, or be farmed out of the game.

How many people are involved with in the operations of the game: ie. developers, coders, staff, etc?

Is there going to be any new kind of servers like speed server?

How many servers is AE gonna get?

Is there gonna be more structures that can only be built on one base?

Will it be possible to have more advanced trade like trading crystals or other things?

Since so many of the big guilds already have a database, are there any plans to bring in a form of built in database tool?

What was the original concept of AE? I'm sure it's changed quite a bit since (insert answer to question 1 here) came up with the idea.
