Goon Crashes RD: oh god what have we done

It all kicked off with a handful of RD members launching into goon space. Goon's glorious and fearless leader FT dropped the recyclers of each of these members creating a pile of about 30 million. After this it gets interesting.

Goon launch at the pile with 3 members, Kahar, The Duke and myself - it was pretty rough. Some spectacular ratios (I lost 25 mil to mr.Sunset's levis...), some terrible ratios (Levis v BS' is not pretty). The pile gets up to 150 million, RD have about 25 mil left guarding it, including one recycler between them. The totals so far, calculated using Kahar's wonderful calculator:



Not the best ratios (1:1.4) but considering all of RD were online at the time, I'll take it. After a couple hours we receive reinforcements and launch to take the blob. The remaining RD members run and we secure the pile.

RD seem a bit suprised by this whole thing and order their members to launch, the launch isn't synched in anyway but the incoming totals 1.1 billion. We manage to soup up roughly 85 mil of the 150 before being forced to run. There's not much we can do about those kind of numbers. Although, we did shield rape the first frig fleet to land (<3 you dingo).

Tl;dr RD try to farm goon, goon crashes them and wins the pile - collect about two thirds of it, RD launch 1.1 billion+ fleet at us and we run. RD derbs some inactives.

Yeah...Nin Nin and Pat didn't exactly get the best ratios (see the table) but we still derbed 128 mil of your fleet while losing 120 mil of ours. Even with the inactives you caught I'm pretty sure there's no profit there for you - we did collect 85 mil after all.

That was totally me!!!! Woo hoo, that was bad! My Helion account is not upgraded, so can't take it seriously. After simming for months, I'd take any chance to suicide into RD. BTW, I'm in your Lyra guild, please don't kick me....

Seriously. Those damn levis. It didn't help that everyone but orchid was playing dead as well, I was really hoping the rest were still offline...though I didn't think it was too likely after all the ticker porn earlier.
