I honestly got tired of requiem for a dream

Even if she wants i wont allow her to change it to that

I prefer: Who let the dogs out

Or Begging
Or even Cartman from southpark singing pokerface

Anything than that

HAHA! That last choice would be amazing :) Requiem is my favorite song, followed by John Williams Battle of the Heros and Duel of the Fates, then Hans Zimmers Black Hawk Down soundtrack. At least when it comes to background music.

Why?

It was indeed worth a try, and it was extremely close considering the fact that there was only 11mil MDK fleet that survived from the first 30min.

Sure, we had the option to pack and run and play guerilla, but that would be long, boring; and well, we just wanted to have some fun. It's battles like these that make this game entertaining after all.

I think it's safe to say that in a battle like this there are several factors that are unfortunately not under control by anyone. However, leadership had already all possible outcomes in mind; and, from my view; even the worst case scenario (which would've been pretty similar to this one except for us also *beep*ing up ratio-wise due to incredible lag, but that wasn't the case, players like l33t actually got a total ratio of 1.2mil v 7mil+) wasn't that bad of a defeat. Yes, they got the debris, but we maintain the better accounts. In the long run, i'm confident we'll end up back on top again with the best averages.

Interesting thread even if I don't even play Ixion and I am barely active in AE

Good job WL even if you lost.

Trying to win against impossible odds is the only interesting challenge left for good players in AE.

if it's truly impossible odds, it could be argued that it's only bad players that take that "interesting challenge." Just sayin

The only way to determine whether something is truly possible, or impossible, is to put it to the test. If one flees, then they are left wondering what could have been. Indeed, one won't improve their battle skills by fleeing. One learns by taking risks, and learning from their mistakes.
