Traditional or Spiral?

So I got bored, and decided to do some pirating on Alpha. If you have never played Alpha, and don't know what pirating means. Well basically its when you plunder people's trade routes. Of course it really only applies to alpha because in other servers you would probably be considering weird for not plundering trades. Anyways as I was getting ready to move my freshly produced vettes to look for occupations I looked at the map, and went oh yeah non spiral galaxies, haven't seen that in awhile. When they first changed to spirals I was like WTF is this crap, but now I'm so use to them that Traditional galaxies just look weird. So I was curious to see what the majority of forum goers preferred.
So what do you like better? Traditional or Spiral?

Traditional galaxies are my preferred. Yeah spirals are neat and all but it makes it so easy to check for hidey holes.

I suspect you haven't been looking hard enough. Spiral galaxies generate way more edge regions, and thus way more secluded systems, and they also extend further from the galaxy center. And depending on which star graphic each hidden system gets, they can be just as hard to notice as with traditional galaxies.

Also, scouts are going to find you regardless.

I like checking for holes too.
