can someone go pay an ae admin 30$ to define AE winning just so we can get rid of the ASAE wins / doesnt win in a server arguments please ?

Just use common sense Titan
Then you will know exactly how full of *beep* ASAE actually is.

They claim cause they last longer then everyone else on a server as some sort of a win or accomlishment.

But yet them claiming success of longevity but are unable to by pass all the accounts of the players/guilds that have "quit"

Thats why it would be fantastic for AE to have a server with an end date
But then ASAE wouldnt have nothing to brag about.

thing is that in some games that have the similar structure like AE surviving after all will make you be the winner by technical reasons and its the ground sewi is standing on , while other games just say you win by domination so in this genera of games you cant really define winning as the game can be really described as a mixture long spanned survival games and duck hunting

True but on the same hand if they have survived it should be no problem and quite easy to get to the top too
Yea but they have also havent actually been on every server from the start.
SO to form a guild and then start in a server thats already "dead or empty" which is their exact case

But every once in awhile a server with an end date (thats not a speed server) could maybe be a fun thing as well.

cool idea in theory but all of the old servers will object because they spent 5+ years in the same server
and if you make this rule for the new servers many players will only join the old servers which is counter progressive

there are alot that like the no ending aspect
and there are some that like the idea of a server that can actually declare a "winner"

And i wouldnt want every server to have an end date.
Do like 1 a year or something
seeing how they are talking about only doing 3-4 servers a year

But ppl will still do the servers cause most of the player base joins em cause they like the whole building up to a big crash.
and then there was a short time before they would open the next server.

Very server servers have any serious action/traffic on em maybe 4 or 5

some people will want to grow long term , its just in their nature to build up a nice account and tend it , honestly i dont find it that of a big deal but thing is , in theory
consider many servers got the end time
this will make all these simcity players go into older servers so they can have the warp drive 30 they were drooling about
this will create a problem because after they reach lv30 the older farts will start farming them , then this new created community will either turn into semi-UCs or we will see more of the CUBEs of alpha which is also bad thing to have
now heres the thing , this decline in this type of players will affect all of the food chain , while i admit that it is possible to create a defensive account and manage it properly to a point where the enemy lacks intrest to attack you , most people fail to balance the aspects of the account thus forming what we call farms , with these people migrating to the old fart servers we basically get less food

I understand what you are saying
But ill have to disagree with you on the players

I know alot of players that wont for example hate/wont play a 2.0 cause they like 1.5
Of course i dont have the exact numbers to see the difference in amounts that play 1.5 comparedto 2.0

But i havent really noticed decrease in players per say

there is only 4 servers where i have no account and i dont sign into most of them
maybe 1x a week if not longer

Not to mention if they actually are deleted
they arrnt farms cause their accounts would be totally gone
