While i applaud Wizards attempt to re-invigorate enthusiasm for the game with the recent changes,
I think the limit issue does not go quite enough.
..But itsa start. So what do you all think the limit should be? Limits can of course be changed later to fit the needs of (hopefully) increased player #'s.

Mine is extreame perhaps at 30, one might think, but imo..way more exciting.

Actually..30 sounds too extreame. Ok well.. Mulligan. \o/

You disapoint me....my choise would be 250 ....can you still adapt poll... 200 feels so crouded....i would like to have some spare spaces.

Same name...same guild...all servers... :biglaugh:

30 sounds good but with that low of a guild count I would like to see some form of hard coding for allied guilds.
IE coding for say inability to hit up to 2 guilds .
Sharing scouting with say 1 other guild .
Ability to use a shared board with up to say 3other guilds.
Otherwise 70ish

I find teams works best at 50....

As we have 8 teams...

50x8 makes 400 players...

We can fit that nicely....

But we easily could reduce it to 5 teams...

5x50 makes 250....

One can offcoarse alwayz make 6 guilds leaving the 6th guild for OPS....but thats all very clumsy and time consuming....

250 would just work best....

But thats all at startup and if you guyz would stop suiciding...

With all you guyz suiciding all the time 100 will do....

3 guilds with 100 each on first year...2 in second year...1 guild after that to fit the real surviving players.....we at ASAE can work with that...

There is alwayz a way....and all wayz lead to ASAE.

I understand you desire of a perfect world 30 members teams....but life is not perfect....you cant make it work with utopical desires.....it would be hell....lol

I thought the current was 250..lol.
Been a few servers back since a guild did get maxed out..no?
And no, can't edit now. But it dont matter. Can get a general feel here for the direction of votes.

Well im not the techincal type to talk coding.
I still like 30 but then thought "winning" a server would be impossible. So im in the 50 club. (If i had a do-over)

I think with a small squadron like that you will have a lot better tactical warfare where at best one guild could control one or two galaxies.

Wake up....a galaxy is only 1/30 of the server..

15x30 makes 450 players each guild....your saying.. :wall: :wall:

I voted 50.

Reducing it to 50 is enough to prevent the server start clusterzergs which typically have no early game in cluster fighting to stop from forming.
It is I think those zergs that ruin gameplay for a lot of players.

The current reduction is probably not enough to stop a clusterzerg from forming and may actually have the negative effect of the clusterguilds becoming stricter on recruitment and farming the slower players in their cluster.

I don't think hardcoding guild size to lower than 50 is really needed, some ppl like their guilds small, others bigger, 50 is not a zerg I think.

I'm not really a fan of hardcoded diplomacy.
Better to just have a good reputation in that regard.
