For the servers that have had years to become established, such as Alpha or Beta, how do you continue to be an active game player? Are you here just to see who can last the longest?
What about play style? I've seen a few comment that profit is no longer the goal, and instead it's about making a name. Thoughts?

Re: Older Server's Play style
Beta is dead, Alpha is at war for the past 3 years and as active as a 15 years old server can be, where you hunt spawns, pick up fleets and from time to time each side moves like 20B each in the same cluster, hit bases and try to snipe any fleet that is not careful.
It was always about profit and it still is.

Re: Older Server's Play style
cover the server(s) with jumpgates, make profitable hits....done
you only need to have enough members to make 1 gate per galaxy.
which is problematic on some....
would be great if new servers where reduced to 1 per year and 1 speedserver....
would be better to repopulate older so caled 'dead' servers....
well they aint dead......ASAE is there.
