Inactives lose level protection
Yes.. I know they eventually turn UC, but that takes often a very long time (Over 8 months). Inactive for 2 months? Bye-bye level protection. At least then the gazillion low level inactives on the servers serve a purpose and aren't just a waste of space. I suggest this be an automatic deal rather than manual like the UC conversion.

Sorta perpetuates something that isn't supposed to be the focus of the game anyway, doesn't it?
I mean AE is supposed to be fighting people with imaginary space boats. Due to the meta it has fallen more to hit and run, blobbing, and farming inactives.
But the focus shouldn't BE farming inactives, should it?
This only makes inactives more delicious. AE wasn't exactly made to be a farming simulator where the enemy doesn't fight back. Heck it's a rule to never intentionally allow occupations.
Great for the meta? I suppose it doesn't hurt it. Certainly allows more food.
Great for AE? I personally don't think so. Seems more like a push to have us fight things that can't fight back.

Coulda fooled me. Have you looked at Helion lately? Everything is set up to become permanently lopsided. Servers are actually won... like permanently. Might as well name the server after the guild that wins it. Ceti is Heiho server, Helion is LOVE server, etc. But I digress. I just thought it would be nice if low level inactives did something more useful than just take up good astros for a year.
Anyhow sorry if this was FMR.

Some things may not exactly be working as intended, but that's no reason to make the situation worse. That said I'm not necessarily against this idea, just don't see the point of discussing it for the umpteenth time.
